Islamic Relief Charity Appeal with Bangladesh Captain
On the 25th of May Cyclone Aila struck the south-west of Bangladesh causing tidal waves that destroyed vast swathes of land and flattened houses. More than three million people in 14 districts have been affected by the disaster. Over 42,000 homes have been completely destroyed and a further 1.9 million damaged.
Islamic Relief UK began a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of this disaster and consulted invitemedia to produce a video with the Bangladeshi Cricket Captain, who appealed to the public in providing financial support to the people affected by Cyclone Aila.
